A new tool by Amazon will enable sellers in the merchant fulfillment network to expand their business to 39 European countries.
The Export Central tool is a key component of Amazon’s broader, free-to-use European Export Programme, which allows sellers to export products from six major stores: the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. In addition, the Netherlands store exports to Belgium only.
What is the Amazon European Export Programme?
The European Export Programme helps drive traffic and sales on existing seller listings, providing growth opportunities. It’s available to all sellers, whether they use Fulfilment By Amazon or are part of the Merchant Fulfilled Network.
Here are the ways the retail giant’s European Export Programme helps sellers:
- Access new markets: Enables Amazon sellers to reach millions of customers in countries without an Amazon store, such as Austria, Portugal, and Greece.
- Seamless selling: No need to duplicate listings or register new accounts, simplifying the process of expanding to new regions.
- Wider reach, same convenience: Sellers can export to multiple countries while managing their existing accounts and listings efficiently.

International shipping setup for sellers
For sellers using seller-fulfilled export through Export Central, Amazon will set up international shipping options for selected stores and destinations, including standard transit times and shipping fees.
Sellers can review, adjust, and edit these settings before moving forward.
Xavier Flamand, Amazon’s VP of Seller Services in Europe, says the company is always looking at ways to support its selling partners to grow their business.
Flamand adds that Export Central is a game-changer for Amazon sellers looking to expand their businesses across borders, especially in countries where Amazon does not operate a store.
“Sellers can now seamlessly list and ship their products across Europe with ease. Our programme eliminates many of the traditional barriers to international expansion, allowing entrepreneurs to focus on what they do best – creating and selling amazing products,” says Flamand.
