With seasoned journalists behind the keyboards, Locate2u has launched a competitive media company with a sharp focus on everything impacting logistics.
Staying on top of fast-paced logistics news while running your own business is as tricky and exhausting as it sounds. As a dedicated news consumer and founder of Zoom2u Technologies (ASX:Z2U), Steve Orenstein knows how difficult it is to “find a site that can give us all the information” in one place.
“I’ve designed this for people running their business or the head of supply chain or transport. Now, they have a single place which has all the information relating to what’s happening. [I’ve] created that funnel of content that’s going to become valuable across the world.”
The dynamic team of journalists, each with over ten years of experience in mainstream media, is trained to find informative and agenda-setting stories for this niche reader.
The writers are taking a “deep dive into particular businesses,” daily telling people-centered stories of what it takes to innovate, create, and sustain a business in e-commerce, retail, or as a startup.
Inspiring logistics content
To inspire, lead, and inform, Orenstein says the Locate2u product will now be managed from a separate site, which has been rebranded as Locate2u PULSE.
“If you look at Bloomberg, [they have] their news site in front of their product site. I think it’s a great way to educate your customers on what’s happening in the industry,” Orenstein explains.
It’s no longer solely about the product Locate2u offers. It’s also about providing customers with critical information that “helps their business grow and achieve greater success.”
Who will benefit from the content? “Whether it’s the shipping side of things, last-mile logistics, route optimization, but also particularly around e-commerce. Whether you’re thinking about autonomous electric vehicles (EVs), but also looking at drones.”
How can businesses get media exposure? “If you have a product that can help these businesses, we want to let our readers learn from all parts of the world.”
Setting foot on international stage
Although the media house’s parent company, Zoom2u Technologies, is headquartered in Australia, the news won’t be limited to certain borders. “It was always with a global vision of having customers across the world. We have customers worldwide,” assures Orenstein.
Locate2u’s technology serves a diverse customer base, ranging from small clients to major global businesses.
Orenstein says the timing is perfect. After more than a year’s hard work, “finding the right people, to understand the business.”
“We’ve taken our time in getting this right.”
