WhatsApp Communities explained
WhatsApp Communities is a newer feature on the app, available in more than 150 countries since September 2023. It provides an organized way to access and engage with multiple related WhatsApp Groups under a single umbrella.
Admins of a community can send broadcast announcements to all community members, ensuring you don’t miss any important updates.
Channels are separate from your private chats, and who you choose to follow is not visible to other followers.
