FedEx Corporation (NYSE: FDX) has announced a strategic partnership and investment in Nimble, a company specializing in artificial intelligent (AI) robotics and autonomous e-commerce fulfillment. 

This alliance aims to scale FedEx Fulfillment using Nimble’s fully autonomous third-party logistics (3PL) model.

How FedEx Supply Chain helps brands 

Scott Temple, president of FedEx supply chain says its strategic alliance and financial investment with Nimble expands its footprint in the e-commerce space, helping to further scale FedEx Fulfillment offerings across North America. 

“Nimble’s cutting-edge AI robotics and autonomous fulfillment systems will help FedEx streamline operations and unlock new opportunities for our customers,” says Temple.
