Yodel has launched two new collection services aimed at making life easier for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), frequent senders, and independent businesses.
This is one of a few recent business developments at the delivery company. It announced in February it had been acquired by YDLGP Limited. Ever since this business move took place, the company seems to have ramped up initiatives to move the company forward.
The company’s latest offerings, Door-to-Door collections via Yodel Direct and a dedicated SME Collection service, are designed to streamline the shipping process for businesses.
Yodel’s couriers will collects at your door
The Door-to-Door service is a convenient solution for marketplace sellers and independent businesses that send up to 50 parcels a week, or 2,500 parcels a year.
With this service, the parcel carrier’s couriers will collect parcels right from a sender’s doorstep and deliver directly to customers.
Customers will also have full tracking from pick-up to delivery.
Getting started with Door-to-Door is simple
Customers can print their labels at home, and Yodel’s drivers will handle the rest. Frequent shippers can also benefit from Yodel’s Bronze, Silver, and Gold rewards program, offering savings of up to 10% per parcel.

Yodel’s SME Collection service
For larger businesses sending between 2,500 and 30,000 parcels a year, Yodel’s SME Collection service may be ideal.
This service is tailored to help growing businesses by offering regular parcel collections from Monday to Friday. The company’s couriers will pick up parcels from a business in a large vehicle or van and deliver them directly to a company’s customers.
Customers will receive end-to-end tracking via the Yodel website and app, along with the added benefits of Yodel’s Xpect service, which includes options like delivering parcels to a neighbor, a safe place, or diverting them to a Yodel store.
Businesses using the SME Collection service will also work closely with a dedicated Business Accounts team to tailor the service to their specific needs, including parcel sizes, dimensions, and product types.
What’s the bigger picture? Yodel’s new collection services are vital for supporting the growth of SMEs and independent sellers, enhancing their operational efficiency, and ensuring that they can compete in an increasingly digital and fast-paced marketplace.
