What do scallops with boiled eggs, and margaritas with sushi have in common? They were all part of the wild ride that was the 2024 Uber Eats Cravings Report.

The annual report sheds light on what Americans are ordering, what combos they’re inventing, and some surprising habits, all with a side of humor.

Uber Eats Cravings Report 2024

Move over tequila, Tito’s vodka takes the crown! Margaritas paired with pizza? You won’t believe these bizarre combos Uber Eats delivered in 2024.

From the good ol’ favorites to popular delivery requests and weird food combinations, there’s bound to be something in the report to make you scratch your head.

And while food dominated, Uber Eats also saw an uptick in non-food orders like Plan B contraceptives and pimple patches.

Because, well… life happens.

Late-night fries and college munchies

If you’ve ever found yourself in the drive-thru at 2 am, you’re not alone.

According to Uber Eats, French fries were the top late-night delivery request.

In fact, midnight munchies peaked in college towns like Penn State, Indiana University, and Texas A&M.

Apparently, it’s not just caffeine keeping students awake—it’s waffle fries.

America’s favorite drinks take a twist

Tequila lost its top spot in the alcohol category, making way for Tito’s vodka.

Margaritas, however, still reigned supreme as the most versatile pairing drink—whether frozen or on the rocks.

Americans enjoyed them with everything from sushi to steak. And in an unexpected trend, sangria emerged as a surprise favorite this year.
